01Introduction

Tournant ("we", "us") provides point-of-sale, ordering and invoicing software for restaurants and food businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using Tournant you agree to the practices described here.

02Information we collect

We collect the account details you provide (name, email, phone, business name), the operational data you enter (menus, orders, invoices, expenses), and basic technical data (device, IP, usage) needed to run and secure the service.

03How we use your information

To operate your account, process orders and payments, provide support, keep the service secure, and communicate service and product updates. We do not sell your data.

04Data storage & security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and hosted on reputable cloud infrastructure. We apply access controls and monitoring, and retain data only as long as your account is active or as required by law.

05Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data from your account settings, or by contacting us. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable period.

06Your customers' data

When your guests order or log in, you are the controller of their data and Tournant is your processor. We use it only to provide the service to you and never for our own marketing.

07Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers for payments (Razorpay), messaging (SMS/WhatsApp) and hosting. Each processes data only as needed to deliver their part of the service.

08AI assistant connectors

If you connect a third-party AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) to your Tournant account, you authorize Tournant to share your business data — orders, payments, expenses, and customer names (with contact details masked by default) — with that provider so it can answer your questions. You control this connection and can revoke it at any time in Settings.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and where appropriate we'll notify you in-app.
